Launched with 25 migrant women in 2009 at village Nithari, Noida, Sarthak has skilled around 800 women in Noida and in the rural communities of Distict Hapur in U.P. and working effectively towards SDGs –

Sarthak works at Four levels:

  • Skills migrant women for employability and gain economic opportunities of growth.
  • Establish sustainable marketing channels for recycled products aiming to both generate income for women and promote sustainable consumption habits.
  • Facilitate an environmentally friendly ecosystem, emphasizing the 3Rs – Reduce, Recycle, and Reuse
  • Cultivate commercially viable micro-enterprises fostering entrepreneurship and become independent business owners

Sarthak is presently running in village Nagla Rasoolpur in Noida skilling around 150 migrant women and empowering them through market linked micro-entrepreneurship.

Sarthak’s Milestones:

–  Revenue generation for women: Earning & distribution of a net profit of 9021 INR.

Production Boost: Crafted 500 bags over the short period of six months from September 2023 to March 2024 from recycled materials.

Market Engagement: Showcasing and marketing of products at multiple platforms
