Karuna Kher: Project Director, Bangaluru, Karnataka

Karuna is a young and enthusiastic individual with a sensitive bent of mind. A post-graduate and a degree in travel and tourism to her credit, Karuna has worked extensively in the Indian tourism industry.

Karuna is the founding member of SADRAG’s grassroots interventions particularly for literacy and education for out of school children and economic empowerment of migrant women in district Gautum Budh Nagar, U.P.  She had planned and framed the learning and activity curriculum for children who were outside the realm of formal school system. She curated the projects for migrant women and linked them with corporate marketing channels.

At present, Karuna is managing the Bangaluru chapter of SADRAG, building networks and coordinating several activities with women and children.
