SADRAG has responded to COVID-19 in its operational areas, with immediate relief and supporting livelihood & Migrant people recovery.
Fight against Corona

The spread of Corona virus is pandemic as per the WHO. The virus has infected over 4 Billion people from all castes, class and creed across the nations. India has adopted a preventive approach and has gone in for a complete lock down of all kinds of economic and social activities. This is to prevent the spread of COVID -19. The government, civil society and local administration have joined hands to make essential commodities available to those who are displaced and need food for survival.

Along with the plight of migrant workers shaking us to the core, the people in underprivileged communities are facing the shortage of food, medicines, masks and dry rations due to sudden lock down. We are trying to ensure that no family remains hungry due to loss of livelihood and work in two ways:

  1. We have adopted the families of Vidya Ratna Children and are ensuring that they have sufficient food at home. Each family should have essentials such as wheat flour, rice, oil, sugar & pulses as per their requirement. We have connected the households and the retail vendor to provide for essentials in each house.
  2. We have converged with local administration and district GBN police for the distribution of food among the needy. Our Child Line Greater Noida team is providing food to children who may otherwise have to go hungry. Amidst the lock down, our team members are in the field to ensure that children get their needs met, whether it is for notebooks or for food. They ensure it to deliver it at their doorstep.
  3. We are ensuring Food Security to the Migrant families in Noida & Greater Noida.
