My Journey with SADRAG:
We have spent at least three weeks with SADRAG and it has been a humbling experience, we have developed a new found respect for the teachers around the world after experiencing teaching children with a problematic language barrier that we somehow overcame with what little Hindi we know and the sheer energy of enthusiasm of the children. As a volunteers for this wonderful NGO, we have the opportunity to contribute to their mission of improving the lives of children through our knowledge gained by virtue of having lived longer and we intended to use it.
Involvement in Child Education:-
Our primary objective was involving ourselves in child education programs, and was it not the most joyful interactions we have had with young children. We taught the children basic and advance computer skills, how to use AI as a helper, and also the martial art of Tai Chi for the physical portion. The enthusiasm and eagerness shown by the children was all the motivation we need for us to come back to just interact with them. Watching them learn something new from us has a unique way of boosting our confidence as well as make us appreciate our knowledge more.
Building Connections:-
Working closely with the NGO was another significant aspect of our experience. We had the privilege of interacting with various people as well as the volunteers of SADRAG, good people who were greatly dedicated to the children. Building these connections was crucial in understanding the multifaceted nature of social work and the importance of a united approach also it was encouraging to know there was still such selfless people in this world.
Personal and Professional Growth:-
SADRAG’s caring and dedicated crew enriched my trip even more. Their commitment to the cause and desire to coach and guide the children were priceless. We learnt about management, effective communication, and the value of the social work. Every day we get a new impression and respect for teachers and volunteers around the world and the effort they put into teaching students and unprivileged children.
Reflecting on the Impact:-
As my tenure with SADRAG comes to an end, I reflect on the impact this experience has had on me. It has broadened my understanding of social issues, reinforced my commitment to contributing to meaningful change, and inspired me to continue working in the non-profit sector. The knowledge and experiences gained during this period are something I will carry forward in all my future endeavors.

Working with SADRAG has been more than just a volunteering opportunity; it has been a journey of learning, growth, and inspiration. I am grateful for the chance to contribute to such a noble cause and look forward to staying connected with the NGO and its mission. My time at SADRAG has been a testament to the power of collective effort and the significant difference it can make in the lives of individuals and communities.
Reflecting on the Impact:-
In our tenure so far with SADRAG, we believe we have a minor but not insignificant impact on the children. The feeling we get when contributing to meaningful change, give us the desire to continue working in the non-profit sector also maybe become teachers or workers in the future. The knowledge and experiences gained during this period are something I will carry forward in all my future endeavours.
Working with SADRAG has been more than simply a volunteering opportunity; it has been an adventure filled with learning, improvement, and inspiration. I am happy for the opportunity to donate to such a good cause, and I look forward to continuing engaged with the NGO and its objective. My experience at SADRAG has shown the strength of working together and the huge difference it can make in the lives of people around the world.
