Embarking on a journey with an NGO is akin to stepping into a realm where passion intertwines with purpose, and the impact is profound. NGOs, or non-profit organizations, are driven by a noble mission to address critical social, environmental, or humanitarian issues. My tenure as an intern at SADRAG NGO in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, provided me with invaluable insights and experiences that I am eager to share in this blog.
SADRAG, an acronym for Social Awareness Development and Research Group, is a beacon of hope in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Dedicated to serving humanity, SADRAG focuses on a myriad of causes including child rights, basic education, child protection, women empowerment, and the livelihood and capacity building of youth and children. It was within this dynamic and purpose-driven environment that I embarked on my internship journey.

I am immensely grateful to Mala ma’am, Neha ma’am, and the entire staff for their unwavering support and guidance throughout this transformative journey. Through my time at SADRAG, I learned the importance of aligning oneself with a cause that resonates deeply with one’s values and aspirations. I gained insights into the multifaceted nature of NGO work, from program management to effective communication and community engagement. Engaging directly with beneficiaries allowed me to understand their needs firsthand and collaborate on meaningful solutions. Participating in awareness-raising initiatives highlighted the power of education in driving positive change and fostering social inclusion. Moreover, my internship provided me with a profound sense of purpose and fulfillment, knowing that I was contributing to a greater good. It also afforded me valuable networking opportunities and allowed me to leverage my skills and talents to create tangible impact in the world.
As I reflect on my journey with SADRAG NGO, I am filled with gratitude for the invaluable lessons learned and the meaningful connections forged. My internship experience has equipped me with a deeper understanding of humanitarian work and a renewed sense of commitment to serving humanity.
