Dr Mala Bhandari, Founder-Director

With a Ph.D. in Sociology from University of Delhi and Post-Doctoral research from University of Pune on UGC Fellowship, Dr Bhandari is a keen researcher in academic and social action issues especially those concerning Gender and Development. Having traveled the length and breadth of the country, she has worked in various social research institutes and non governmental organizations. Her Ph.D. thesis was published as ‘The Quality of Life of Urban Working Women’, Abhijeet Publishers, New Delhi.

 

Mrs Anita Varma, Secretary

Mrs Varma has an extensive experience in the Education sector. She has been actively engaged in the Primary and Middle school education for the last 25 years. Dedicated to social sector, Mrs Varma actively pursues the agenda of the organization with other members of the Managing Committee.

Hari Kumar Tyagi, Treasurer

Mr Tyagi is a Sociologist from University of Delhi. A keen traveler, Mr Tyagi has an in-depth understanding of the existing social realities in India. He is currently a Journalist with The New York Times, New Delhi.

Dr Pamela Singla , Member

Dr.Pamela Singla is a Ph.D. in Social Work from University of Delhi, India. With over 20 years of academic standing, Dr Singla has been actively involved in teaching, training, research and consultancy in social sector. She has published many academic articles in the various journals of repute. She has authored two books titled “Women’s Participation in Panchayati Raj: Nature and Effectiveness” and “Scavengers and Scavenging in NCT of Delhi: A Status Report”.

Dr Richa Awasthy , Member

Dr Awasthy is a Ph.D. in Human Resource & Organizational Behaviour from Jamia Hamdard University. Dr Awasthy has been a university rank holder in Applied Psychology and Organizational Behaviour from Delhi University. She has an experience of fourteen years in research, consultancy and teaching. Her current interests are cross-cultural studies, intercultural relations, organizational diagnosis, Learning organization, 360 degree performance appraisal. She has conducted several studies in these areas in government & private sectors and MNCs. She is certified FIROB administer. She initiated the students internship programmes with NGOs in her college.

 

Mrs Shruti Deo , Member

Mrs Deo has been associated with the Indian garment industry for the last 25 years. She is widely known for her philanthropist interests and regularly contributes to the well being of poor and downtrodden.

Mrs Namrata Gupta, Member

With an extensive experience in travel industry, Mrs Gupta is actively involved in the activities of community well-being. She indulges in various charitable activities at a personal as well as organizational level.
