Convergent Model to address issues of violence against women

On 11 March 2013, District Gautum Budh Nagar, SADRAG initiated the Convergent approach to address issues of violence against women and their safety. Held in the much famous public space,  The Great India Place, the launch ceremony was attended by Ms Rashmi Singh, Exec. Director, National Mission for Empowerment of Women, Ministry of Women & Child Development, Govt. of India and Ms Deepa Jain, Principle Judge, Family Court, District Gautum Budh Nagar, U.P. besides youth from academic institutions and civil society.   Watch on https://youtu.be/9D58KPEYmDo

Gender Sensitisation workshop for Police officials in District Gautum Budh Nagar, U.P.

A total of 350 police officials from different ranks were covered under a series of gender sensitisation workshops that dealt with complaint redressal mechanisms and role of police as a responsible and sensitive force. Documentary films and everyday instances on violence against women were discussed with the participants

Nari Ki Chaupals with College youth

A series of Nari ki Chauplas were held in educational institutions in Noida and Greater Noida to discuss the prevailing perceptions on gender among the present day youth. Together with the Asmiita theatre, youth were encouraged to speak their minds on issues of  gender perceptions and violence against women.
