 Youth Development Centre

The Youth Development Centre  is essentially for promoting creativity through digital technology and facilitating sustainable livelihood for youth from the underprivileged communities through two means:

1. Market Aligned Skill Training (MAST): Going with the essence of Skill India, this Six months certificate course equips the youth in  age group  19 – 24 with  creative skills in computer aided graphics and designing. Youth with a creative bent of mind can learn to become trained Graphic Designers and move forward with a steady career path through job or entrepreneurship. The youth who have passed class XII under the formal school system and are currently pursuing  graduation course are eligible to enrol for the course that would  provide career options through placement and intern ship options. The basic knowledge of  MS Office is desirable in order to apply for the course.

2. Adobe Youth Voices: Keeping with digital technology, this programmes equips youth with basic skills in digital literacy that may be used for social action. The youth learn to research social issues and create digital media such as documentary films, radio programmes, creative posters and digital stories. The youth create these media keeping in perspective the particular issue and the solution in terms of how it can be addressed at large. Our youth have created meaningful media to reflect on issues of concern such as dowry system , school education, child labour and environmental cleanliness.

The Youth Development Centre is functioning within the organisation’s premises. Those interested to enrol, may contact us at 0120-4129831 or write to us at youthmedia@sadrag.org
