Hari Kumar, Treasurer                              

Hari Kumar has done M.Phil.in Sociology from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. His work involved Dalit and marginalized communities.  

Hari created a niche for himself especially considering his journey from M.Phil. days at the university to the field of Development Journalism. While observing and analyzing grassroots sociological concepts and realities, Hari has redefined many concepts in the realm of politics of development. He has traveled widely in the quest to understand regional diversities and existing social realities of India which provide a definite edge to his work.

Hari is currently a Journalist in New Delhi Bureau office of The New York Times. He regularly contributes to the Indian story of NYT, the newspaper with worldwide influence and readership.  His factual stories on social realities facts and politics are well appreciated all over the world.
